The Senba Building is a building that still conveys the history of modern architecture in Senba, Osaka. A residential/office building with one basement, five floors above ground, and one tower. The exterior has the design of a tiled office building, but the interior has a unique design with an atrium with a long, narrow patio-like courtyard in the center, and a corridor surrounding it. When it was completed in 1925, it attracted attention as a very unique and innovative building. The long, narrow patio-like courtyard was designed to be functional, making it convenient for pulling in trucks and wagons, in keeping with the location of Senba, which developed as a wholesale district. Advance notice is required for tours.
