Osaka Prefectural Central Library
The Osaka Prefectural Central Library, which boasts the largest collection of books in Osaka, opened in Higashiosaka City in 1996. In addition to books and materials in a wide range of fields, from general books to academic books, the library also has an Internet corner and an AV room. In the ``Children's Resource Room,'' which has a collection of children's books, magazines, and picture-story shows, picture book readings and craft and origami classes are held. Furthermore, the ``International Children's Literature Museum'' was relocated from Expo'70 Park to the inside of the building, and the materials for children have been further expanded. Furthermore, in the ``face-to-face reading room,'' people with visual impairments can receive services such as face-to-face reading and the use of audio-to-speech software. In addition to a multipurpose hall where events such as seminars and concerts can be held, there are also refreshing spaces such as a coffee room and a rooftop garden.
