Compeitou Museum Yao
Konpeitō, a sweet from the South Seas that came from Portugal
This is a facility where you can learn about history and culture, and experience making your own original konpeitō.
Come see, hear and experience the charms of konpeitō, a traditional Japanese sweet that has also become popular among foreigners in recent years due to its appearance in popular anime and other media around the world.
You will make your own original confetti using a 30cm diameter mini kettle.
Choose a color and flavor to create two types of confetti. It's an experience that feels like a science experiment, where you can see what kind of color and flavor changes will occur. It's also popular with YouTubers and Instagrammers.
