Kanayamahiko Shrine is the local deity, and its faith has been passed down from generation to generation. Also, because of its divine name, Kanayama, or Golden Mountain, many people from all over the world come to visit the shrine, believing that it will bring them wealth and happiness. Along with Kanayamahime Shrine located on the mountainside of this area, it is said that there are merits in businesses related to fire, such as ironwork, metalwork, agriculture and civil engineering.
