Imabashi
This historic bridge spans the Higashiyokobori River and is said to have existed since the Toyotomi era, as its name appears in works such as the "Osaka no Jin Ezu." The area near the west end of the bridge was lined with money exchangers from the mid-Edo period, and flourished as a financial center. Along with this, a new bridge was built on the road through Kyobashi Town, so it was called ``Imabashi.'' At the time, it was a large bridge for a town bridge, with a length of 75.8m and a width of 5.5m. There was also a shared boat heading towards Amagasaki from the foot of the bridge. The bridge had been burnt down many times due to fire damage, and was replaced with a wooden girder and iron pile during the Meiji period. It was a splendid bridge, using type steel girders and cast iron for the lights and handrails, but it appears that the cast iron was donated during the war. The current bridge was rebuilt in 1994, but the lighting and railings were designed based on the bridge's appearance in the past.
