Hiraoka Park

You can enjoy seasonal nature, including cherry blossoms. There are also plenty of playground equipment that is popular with children.

The park is a gateway to hiking around the neighboring Mt. Ikoma (Nukata Garden, Narukawa Garden, etc.), and has a variety of slides that take advantage of the terrain, making it a park that can be enjoyed by a wide variety of people, from hikers to families. In the park, you can feel the rich nature of the foot of Mt. Ikoma, and you can enjoy nature walks in any season, from the dazzling green of summer to the beautiful autumn leaves. In addition, the famous Hiraoka Plum Grove has a wide variety of plum blossoms with different flower colors (white, pink, red) and shapes (single, double), and there are varieties that bloom early (around January), mid-flowering (around February), and late (around March), so you can enjoy them for a long period of time. Other than that, the cherry blossoms, azaleas, and hydrangeas are also worth seeing. In addition, from the observation decks on Mt. Nukata and Mt. Hiraoka, you can see the Osaka Plain in its entirety, and if the weather is good, you can see all the way to Awaji Island.
