Japanese-born anime and characters have many fans overseas. From nostalgic masterpieces to the latest hot topics, not only manga and video works, but also a wide variety of goods are commercialized. There are many shops in Umeda, Osaka where you can find goods based on popular anime and characters. Your favorite characters can be transformed into all kinds of goods, including toys, stationery, interior goods, fashion goods, games, and sweets! It's fun to just browse through the shops, and you might discover something new. Everyone from small children to adults who were once children are sure to be fascinated by it.

    “ONE PIECE” “NARUTO” “BLEACH” “Gintama” “Katekyo Hitman REBORN!” JUMP SHOP Osaka Umeda store is full of goods centered on serialized works of the popular weekly manga magazine ``Weekly Shonen Jump'' such as ``Weekly Shonen Jump''. The huge cover panel near the entrance is a landmark. This is a dream shop that sells everything from Shueisha original goods, anime goods, comics, DVDs, sweets, and T-shirts to Jump goods! There are also many limited edition items that are only available at Jump Shop. It is sure to be captivating for both children and adults.

  3. Kiddy Land Umeda Store

    The Kiddy Land Umeda store, located on the first floor and basement of Hankyu Sanbangai, is filled with character goods that are popular with a wide range of people, from children to adults. From the cute to the unique, including Hello Kitty, Miffy, Rilakkuma, Mickey & Minnie, Snoopy, the nostalgic Monchhichi, Susie Tzu and Care Bear, which are popular among young girls. With a wide variety of reasonably priced items such as stationery, fashion goods, stuffed animals, interior goods, and sweets, you'll probably want something like that.

  4. Donguri Republic Kiddy Land Umeda store

    Many Ghibli animations are highly rated not only in Japan but also around the world. The store is full of character goods from Studio Ghibli works, including ``My Neighbor Totoro'' and ``Kiki's Delivery Service,'' ``Spirited Away'' and ``Princess Mononoke.'' The store has a wide variety of cute stuffed animals, household goods, stationery, and more, so it's fun just to look around, and the warmth of wood will soothe your soul. We recommend the character finger puppets (200 yen each). They're so cute that you'll want to get all the types!

    Restaurant Karaoke Shidax is a karaoke chain famous for its extensive food menu. Among them, one that has recently become popular is the ``relaxed lunch'' where you can enjoy lunch in a private karaoke room (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays). 1 hour room charge is free, lunch, drinks and dessert are included for only 580 yen! For lunch, you can choose from 7 different Japanese, Western, and Chinese menus, such as ``Hamburg Steak with Fried Egg'' and ``Gomoku Udon Noodles with Lots of Vegetables & Rice Balls.''   7. Mandarake Umeda store

    Once you pass through the bright red sign and take the escalator to the third floor, you will find yourself in a mysterious space that will make you feel like you have wandered into a cave. The sight of anime and special effects-related figures and toys lined up in the spacious store, including the hugely popular ``ONE PIECE,'' ``Neon Genesis Evangelion,'' the nostalgic ``Saint Seiya,'' and ``Mobile Suit Gundam,'' is a sight to behold! There are also rare superalloys and treasures inside. On the second floor, which is filled with manga from new releases to old books, there is a fossilized replica of a giant mammoth skeleton. You can also find valuable old manga such as Osamu Tezuka's works.

Sanrio Gallery, located in Shinsaibashi, two stops from Umeda on the Midosuji Subway Line, is a special shop featuring Sanrio characters. It's a dream-like space with limited edition and rare items not found in regular Sanrio shops.

The second basement floor of Hankyu Sanbangai is a gourmet floor with nearly 100 restaurants. From authentic restaurants to cafes, you're sure to find the menu you want, including Japanese, Western, Chinese, and Italian cuisine.
