Zofukuji Temple
The graves of Hayato Usuda, a Toyotomi military commander who was active in the Osaka Siege, and his relatives are erected here. Hayato Usuda is also known as ``Iwami Jutaro''.
The Sango-in name is Zofuku-ji Temple of Seikozan Hakugo-in Temple, the sect is the Jodo sect, and the principal image is a standing statue of Amida Tathagata. It was built in 1602, and is the 32nd temple of the Amida Pilgrimage at the Osaka New 48 Gansho. ), the founder of the Yamato priest, Yoyo Meitaku. The main hall was destroyed by fire in the 5th year of Meiwa, but was rebuilt in the 2nd year of An'ei. The Sanmon Gate, which survived the fire, survived the war damage of the Great Osaka Air Raid, and retains its original appearance to this day. Since the Edo period, there have been many danka who have made achievements in the publishing world of Kamigata, and it has a history that can be called the ``temple of publishers'' and ``temple of bookstores'' in Osaka. The Byakuen Garden is a permanent memorial tomb of Amida Nyorai seated on an inverted lotus, which was cast and erected in 14th year of Genroku to pray for the rebirth of a woman. Regardless of religious beliefs, the ashes of the Buddha are interred among the gentle smiling Buddha, and it is very quiet. Located in a peaceful environment, you can have a relaxing visit.
