Yamamoto Noh Theater
It is registered as a tangible cultural property and is the only theater in Osaka that utilizes its box stage.
There are various events held here that are not limited to Noh.
The oldest Noh theater in Osaka, celebrating its 90th anniversary in 2018. The first stage, established in 1928, was destroyed by fire during the war, but was rebuilt in 1950, and in 2006 was designated as a ``National Registered Cultural Property'' by the Cultural Affairs Council. Although it is a historic building, it is a fascinating place to bring Noh to life in modern times, including Noh performances for beginners, art-based Noh guides for children, trial classes for beginners, and a new audience-participation performance called ``200 Hagoromo.'' We will strive to popularize it as a unique art. Also, taking advantage of our proximity to the station, we have been participating in the ``Osaka Night Culture Project'' from an early stage, offering new ways to enjoy the cultural nightlife of Osaka through events such as ``Kamigata Traditional Performing Arts Night for Beginners'' and ``Tokuino.'' It has become a spot.
