Located within the enormous “Kita” Osaka terminal where the JR, Hanshin Electric Railway, Hankyu Electric Railway and the Osaka Metro are concentrated, this underground shopping district attracts almost 300,000 passers-by everyday. Located on the western side close to the Hanshin and Hankyu department stores are the “mikke” and “FARURU” stores, both of which offers a collection of fashion and miscellaneous goods and a gateway to the Whity Umeda. To the north is the “Puchishan” which is a collection of stores that offer cosmetics, miscellaneous goods and services, and to the east is a concentration of restaurants and grocery stores. If you go further back even deeper you will come across the recently opened “NOMOKA” bar district. The “Izumi-no-Hiroba” is a popular meet-up spot that while the name stays the same, it lights up into the “WaterTree” at certain seasons and times for people who gather in the plaza to enjoy.
