Legendary King's Tomb
It is said to be the tomb of Wani, who wrote the following poem: ``Nani duni, Sakuyako no Hana, Fuyugomori, now Harube, Sakuyako no Hana (Kokin Waka Collection).'' A designated historic site of Osaka Prefecture. Wuni was a scholar who came to Japan from Baekje on the Korean peninsula during the reign of Emperor Ojin around the beginning of the 5th century, and taught learning to Emperor Ojin's son, Uji no Wake Iratsuko. A legendary figure who is said to have introduced literature. In the Nihon Shoki, he is written as Wani, and in the Kojiki, he is written as Wanikishi. On the south side of Cheonwanin Tomb, there is a Korean-style rest area with vermilion-painted pillars and tiles that gives off the atmosphere of Baekje.The Korean national flower, Rose of Sharon, is beautiful from summer to autumn. In recent years, many people have come from South Korea for sightseeing and school trips.
