It is located close to Tsurumi Ryokuchi Station on the Nagahori Tsurumi Ryokuchi Line. This is an urban park that was redeveloped on the site of the former EXPO'90 "International Garden and Greenery Exposition." The approximately 123-hectare site features a large pond in the middle where migratory birds can rest their wings, and includes the "Sakuyakonohanakan" greenhouse display of 2,600 species and 15,000 plants, as well as the Japanese garden, the International garden, and the Dogwood Hall (Tsurumi Sports Center). In addition, there are also new facilities for learning about environmental issues, such as a horse riding park, a ball game field, a sports field, a heated swimming pool, recreational facilities such as a barbecue area and a campsite, and a nature experience observation garden. Admission is free except for some paid facilities. In addition to enjoying seasonal flowers and plants throughout the year, there are also events held.
