Natural hot spring Tondabayashi Gakusan Onsen No. 2
The hotel boasts an open-air bath with a view of the tranquil rural scenery and Mount Kongo and Mount Katsuragi in Yamato.
Tondabayashi Gakusan Onsen No. 2 is located inside Kamenoi Hotel Tondabayashi, which is built on the site of Gakusan Castle, which has ties to Lord Kusunoki.
The spring water is a sodium-calcium chloride hot spring and is said to be good for lower back pain, neuralgia, frozen shoulders, fatigue recovery, and general health promotion.
The open-air bath, located at an altitude of 280m, offers a spectacular view of the Kongo mountain range.
The hotel has 43 Japanese and Western-style guest rooms, a banquet hall, a conference room, and an observation deck with a 360-degree view, as well as a restaurant where you can enjoy the chef's carefully prepared seasonal kaiseki cuisine, including crab dishes.
