Teranishi Family Abeno Nagaya
It was the first row house in Japan to be registered as a national tangible cultural property, and was awarded the 26th Osaka City Urban Landscape Architecture Mayor's Award for making the most of the building while also harmonizing with the town.
This four-storey wooden two-story tiled gabled tenement building was built in 1932 before the war. Built over 70 years ago, it has been beautifully restored by a master carpenter and is now a restaurant that thrives in the town.
