Tempozan Park
This park is home to Mt. Tempozan, which is famous as Japan's lowest mountain. It has been maintained as a beautiful park with cherry blossoms and pine trees, making it a hidden spot.
Tempozan is famous as the lowest mountain in Japan with an altitude of 4.5 meters. The summit itself is buried within the park, but there is a sign that says ``Tenpozan Summit''. Right next door is the ``Meiji Emperor Observation Site Monument,'' which commemorates the observation of the new government's warships at Tempozan in the first year of the Meiji era. Located near Tempozan Harbor Village, it is attracting attention as a hidden cherry blossom viewing spot.
