Tanekawa Shrine
In spring, about 100 cherry blossom trees bloom here, making it a popular spot for families.
In the spring of 1545 (Tenbun 14), a smallpox disease was prevalent in this area, and the disease did not stop, but because of the efficacy of the talisman prayed at this shrine, it gained veneration from the common people. I did. However, during the turmoil of the Tensho era (approximately 400 years ago), the shrine building was destroyed by fire. Afterwards, various disputes arose within Mitani-no-sho, but by enshrining the gods enshrined in the manor together, the manor became unified and the disputes subsided, and a shrine building was built on the current site as the main shrine of the manor. This is the origin of today's Tanegawa Shrine. In spring, about 100 cherry blossom trees bloom here, making it a popular spot for families.
