Takihata Furusato Cultural Properties Forest Center
In 1980, a dam was built in the Takihata area, and many cultural assets such as folklore, arts and crafts, and private house architecture from the Takihata area, which was submerged by the dam, are preserved and exhibited here at Kawachinagano City. Takihata Folklore Museum. Private houses in the Takihata area are characterized by a ``Tsumairi Yokowarigata'' floor plan, which is not seen in other areas of the prefecture. It is open to the public along with the irori hearth. In addition, there is an exhibition room with an iron hot water kettle, which is a tangible cultural property designated by Kawachinagano City, and a Fujikikuyohi Monument, which was erected for about 130 years from the Meireki era to the Kansei era, is located next to the exhibition room. It is preserved.
