The Takatsuki Forest Tourism Center, directly managed by the Osaka Prefectural Forestry Association, is a nature experience facility where you can fully enjoy the mountain nature, including accommodations and restaurants, as well as a craft center, a shiitake center, and a playground called "Yamabiko no Mori." Kashida Bath is located within the facility. The spacious bathroom is made of natural stone, and is said to leave your skin smooth after a relaxing soak in the hot water. The view from the bath is like forest bathing. There are also fireflies in the summer. Another secret of this hot spring is that, for the first time in Japan, it is heated using wood pellet fuel made from felled wood from forest maintenance. Our motto is to be more comfortable and more environmentally friendly. The hot water is clear and colorless and has a smooth texture.
