taekwondo
Taekwondo is a type of sport, martial arts, and martial arts that was born in South Korea in 1955, and is now popular in more than 200 countries around the world, with an estimated number of over 80 million players. It became an official sport at the 2000 Sydney Olympics, where Osaka native Yoriko Okamoto won a bronze medal in the women's 67kg class. In 2011, Mr. Okamoto established Dream Taekwondo School in his hometown of Osaka, where he continues to actively teach and popularize Taekwondo. Taekwondo is a unique sport that can be practiced for a variety of purposes, as it combines the spirit of a martial art with the competitive characteristics of a sport. At Dream Taekwondo School, we actively introduce new Taekwondo events such as Poomsae Freestyle, which incorporates acrobatic techniques set to music, as well as Gyeolgi (competition) and Poomsae (forms). Everyone from kids to seniors can easily enjoy Taekwondo, so please give it a try.
