Japan's first hall dedicated to classical concerts, built in 1982 to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Asahi Broadcasting. It boasts a reverberation time of 2 seconds (when full), which is said to be the best for classical music. The hall is an "arena theater" style where all seats surround the stage, and there are seats where you can see the conductor's movements and seats where you can closely observe the pianist's hands, so you can enjoy watching the music. Seating capacity: 1704. The pipe organ is manufactured by the Swiss company Kuhn (3 keyboards, 54 stops, 3,732 pipes).
