Sumiyoshi Shrine (also known as Wakamiya Sumiyoshi Shrine)
At the autumn festival, which is held on the Saturday and Sunday around October 10th every year, music instruments, jiguruma, and children's mikoshi are paraded around the ring.
The origin of the shrine is said to be Itsukushima Shrine, which was founded by Kiyomori Taira on the site of Sekirenji Temple, founded by Gyoki during the Tenpyo era. As the guardian deity and guardian deity of Ozone's hometown, it has attracted deep faith and worship. At the autumn festival, which is held on a Saturday and Sunday around October 10th every year, a dance is performed to ward off evil spirits, going around the houses of the village, and from the evening onwards, the band, jiguruma, and children's mikoshi are paraded around the dohyo ring. The bird lion dance is a must-see.
