A safe, inexpensive, and secure youth hostel with a global network of dormitories is located right next to Shin-Osaka Station. It is crowded with many guests from both within Japan and overseas, and serves as a gateway to Japan and a base for trips to Keihanshin and Osaka. There are also free events such as mini concerts and portraits on some days. There are various plans that cater to the needs of travelers, such as a plan to support elementary and junior high school students who can stay without a guardian (consent is required), a plan with breakfast and morning bath for those who arrive in the morning on an overnight bus, and a plan to watch a game, play, or concert that comes with a mini cushion as a bonus. In addition, the Osaka Municipal Youth Center, located on the 1st to 8th floors, can be used as a training room or meeting room for training camps and expeditions, and as a practice space for music competitions. Meals are also available by reservation.
