Shijonawate City History and Folklore Museum
Some people think of a history and folklore museum as a place that only provides specialized explanations, but here we have devised ways to make things fun and easy to understand for children. For example, the special project ``Doctor Monoshiri.'' In this event, if you answer a quiz and get the correct answer, you will receive a ``Doctor of Knowledge'' membership card and a present, and the staff put all their wisdom into planning this event so that everyone can have fun while learning about history. The presents are original illustrations created using digital cameras or hand-drawn, and there are many types, so by the time you collect them all, your membership card will be full of stamps. In addition, various ideas have been put into the exhibits here, with illustrations and paper clay models showing at a glance how the excavated items were used and what life was like. Because of this, even people who are new to museums can enjoy the museum.
