Settsukyo Hananosato Onsen (Sansuikan)
Forget about the hustle and bustle of the city as you relax in the large rock-view bath made of an 8m natural rock formation located upstream of Takatsuki Settsu Gorge. You can enjoy the four seasons: wild cherry blossoms in spring, sweetfish and fireflies in summer, and autumn leaves in autumn. This was a small inn founded in 1967, but in 1982, the proprietress, with the help of geologists, carried out hot spring excavation work for two years and discovered the hot spring. There are two types of hot springs: Spring No. 1, an alkaline simple spring containing a lot of radon, is an indoor rock bath, and Spring No. 2, an alkaline pure sodium bicarbonate spring, is an open-air bath overlooking the Akutagawa Valley. In particular, the No. 2 spring has a concentration 2.5 times that of standard hot springs, and is highly effective for beautifying the skin and as a therapeutic spring. You can feel the depth of the water from the smooth texture of the water. Drinkable hot springs (approved by the insurance office) You can drink coffee made with hot spring water at the cafe.
