Sakai Alphonse Mucha Museum
The museum houses works by Alphonse Mucha, a representative Art Nouveau artist, painted throughout his life.
This museum exhibits beautiful paintings by Mucha, a leading Art Nouveau artist. Yosano Akiko's magazine "Myojo" and her poetry collection "Madaragami" are known for being early adopters of Mucha's designs in their illustrations and bindings, making it a fitting facility for Sakai, which played a major role in promoting exchange between the East and the West.
