Rinku Town is located across the river from Kansai International Airport, a gateway to the world where many people come and go. Following the opening of the airport, the town was opened in 1996 as an international city that would support and complement the airport and serve as a place for international exchange. Its total area is about 320 hectares and spans two cities and one town: Izumisano City, Tajiri Town, and Sennan City. Rinku Town is home to popular hotels and restaurants, the SiS Rinku Tower (formerly the Rinku Gate Tower Building), Rinku Premium Outlets where you can buy popular branded goods at reasonable prices, AEON Mall Rinku Sennan with over 160 stores selling food, clothing, and daily necessities, Rinku Park and Marble Beach, recommended for strolling, and Tarui Southern Beach where you can swim in the sea in the summer.
