Takabayashi family residence
One of the oldest private houses in Osaka Prefecture. Its current appearance was completed over 200 years ago, during the Kansei era.
It is a mansion surrounded by a white earthen wall, with a thatched roof main building, a storehouse, a Fudo-do hall, and an Inari shrine, and the entire site is a building that retains the structure of a headman's mansion in the Kinki region during the Edo period. The pillars and beams of the building remain from the Tensho era in the late 1500s, but it is said that the building was expanded and renovated to include a tatami room and entrance, and took on its current appearance at the end of the 18th century.
