Ranma were originally produced in Kyoto, but as they became more popular among the general public, they spread to Osaka, where a large amount of lumber is traded. Furthermore, traditional techniques were developed one after another to meet the high demands of shrines and Shitennoji in Osaka Prefecture. In particular, in the Kansai region, carved ranma, reed ranma, openwork ranma, and other types are made from cedar and cypress wood.
Currently, the company is introducing new simple items for apartments that are popular with the younger generation, and is actively producing items that meet the needs of the times.
