Osaka Museum of History
A museum that researches and showcases the nearly 1,400 year-old history and culture of Osaka.
Standing near the lush green Osaka Castle Park and Naniwa Palace Site Park is the Osaka Museum of History which opened in 2001.
This museum features the nearly 1,400 year-old history of “Osaka City” from ancient times to the middle and early modern ages up until the modern times. Through an exhibit of both full-scale and miniature models, videos and plenty of actual documents, visitors can come to learn the history and culture of Osaka.
The scenic view from the very top of Osaka castle is the perfect photo spot. In addition, they even offer a tour of the Naniwa Palace remains.
