Osaka International Airport
Welcome to Osaka, the gateway to the skies that connects the whole of Japan.
Affectionately known as "Itami Airport," this airport is a hub connecting the whole of Japan as a domestic airport. It is conveniently located about 30 minutes from the city center, and is popular with many users. Inside the terminal, there are restaurants and souvenir shops, and it is bustling with families and other travelers. In addition, from the observation deck on the rooftop of the fourth floor, which is free to enter, you can see not only planes taking off and landing, but also the towns of Toyonaka, Itami, and Ikeda. It is especially popular as a date spot at twilight, when the setting sun, planes taking off and landing, and runway lights intersect. Many events and product exhibitions are held here, making it a fun spot even for those who are not flying.
