It is about a 15-minute walk east along Ogimachi-dori from Umeda, the center of Osaka, or a short walk from Ogimachi Station on the Osaka Metro Sakaisuji Line. This park is adjacent to Kids Plaza Osaka, which has an eye-catching colorful building design. There are large playground equipment such as a jungle gym and mountain slides, a tunnel-shaped slide that uses a small hill, a rock climbing practice area, and a ground. With a fountain, a babbling brook, flower beds with seasonal flowers, and a grassy plaza, the park is always lively with children, families, and elderly people out for a walk. You can also see nearby office workers spreading out their lunch boxes during their lunch break. The park is also home to the Ogimachi Pool, a facility with a table tennis court and a multi-purpose room, and the Osaka City Northern Park Office. It is a short walk from Tenjinbashisuji Shopping Street, which stretches about 2.6 km from north to south.
