It is located across the Igami Bridge with its red railing over the Kashii River.
Igami Shrine is located across the red railing of Igami Bridge over the Kashii River. The enshrined deity, Taka-Okami, is the god of rain, and has been called the ``God of Rain'' and ``Tenjin of Muto'' since ancient times, and has been worshiped as a water source deity for farmers in the Kashii River basin. The main hall, built in 1442, is Ikkensha Kasuga-zukuri, with a cypress bark roof, and an unusual style with a Kara gable on the front eaves. It has various carvings such as frog legs and wooden noses, and the bright colors give it a feel of the Muromachi period. It is the oldest Kasuga-zukuri building in Osaka Prefecture and has been designated as an important cultural property.
