This is the only museum in Japan with a theme of laughter, where you can experience the charm of Kamigata entertainment such as manzai and rakugo. We will widely disseminate the history and charm of Kamigata entertainment such as manzai and rakugo both domestically and internationally.
The Kamigata Performing Arts Museum ( nickname: Wach Kamigata ) is dedicated to the preservation and worship of Kamigata performing arts, as well as providing a place for citizens to become familiar with Kamigata performing arts.
It is the only museum in Japan established with the purpose of contributing to the development of Osaka's culture.
