Morinomiya Piloti Hall

In order to preserve the remains and artifacts of the Morinomiya Ruins, this multipurpose hall was built using the piloti method (stilts) with special beams, which is rare in Japan.

Morinomiya Piloti Hall, located on the east side of the Nissay Stadium ruins, is designed to preserve the remains and artifacts of the Morinomiya ruins (from the Jomon/Yayoi period to the early Edo period) excavated from within the grounds. ) was built in 1979, and in 2010 it was renovated with the latest equipment. The hall has a seating capacity of 1,030 and can be used for a wide range of purposes such as concerts, plays, dance, lectures, film shows, and union conventions.The multipurpose hall has a 16m long mirror on the wall, and is used for dance, musicals, theater, and stage performances. It can be used as a fully equipped rehearsal facility. There are also tourist spots scattered around the area, such as Osaka Castle Park and Tamatsukuri Shrine.
