Mitsu Park (Triangle Park)
It is a landmark of Americamura and also one of the meeting spots.
It is a landmark of America-mura, a town that nurtured the youth culture of the Kansai region, and is also one of the meeting spots. After the war, this triangular space, called "Mitsugaien" on waste land of a road, came into the limelight in the 1970s, and has come to be affectionately known as "Triangle Park" as America-mura developed. In recent years, it has become a popular spot for young comedians to perform their manzai acts for free, treating the young people strolling around the area as customers. The long-established "Koga-ryu Takoyaki Shop," which has been located right in front of the park for 30 years and is the originator of "mesh-kake mayonnaise," is always crowded with people. Listening to a young comedy duo's manzai while munching on takoyaki is also a unique experience at Triangle Park.
