Within the precincts is Rikyu no Mizu, which has been selected as one of the 100 best waters in Japan by the Environment Agency, and many people continue to visit in search of the famous water. This water, which is said to have been a favorite of Sen no Rikyu, is underground water from the Minase River, which originates from Mt. Tennozan, a tributary of the Yodo River, and there is a tea ceremony room, Toshin-tei (a nationally designated important cultural property), on the grounds. In addition, every year, each head of the Sansenke family (Omote, Ura, Mushakoji) holds a tea ceremony using this well water. There are cultural assets such as the National Treasure ``Paper Colored Image of Emperor Go-Toba'' and ``Emperor Go-Toba's Shinto Hand Seal Inscription'', and the handprint left on the shrine gate in front of the approach is the name of a famous sword enshrined in the shrine building. It is said that Goemon Ishikawa left it behind when he tried to steal it. *"Rikyu no Mizu" water intake hours 6:00-17:00, up to 20 liters per person
