Manpukuji Temple (Manpukuji Temple)
It was founded by Toshinobu Maeda Jirobee, the younger brother of Sengoku warlord Toshiie Maeda. Flowers bloom throughout the year in the mountain, and it has a beautiful tranquility worthy of being called an ancient temple.
Located in the middle of the city, less than a 10-minute walk from the downtown area of Minami, Osaka, Manpuku-ji Temple stands as if to mark the boundary between the sacred and the profane due to its location. The grounds of Manpukuji Temple, which was opened in 1594 by Toshinobu Maeda Jirobei (a monk who was a monk) and the younger brother of Toshiie Maeda, is rich in flowers and trees, and its atmosphere leaves a lasting impression on the hearts of visitors. Gives you peace of mind. Its quiet beauty, set apart from the hustle and bustle of the city, is different from the majesty of the main hall, but it certainly makes you think of a place of peace. Although it is not noticeable, there is also a monument with poems by Matsuo Basho, quietly watching over the mountain. It is also famous for being the location of the Shinsengumi's inn (station), which was an important part of the history of the end of the Edo period. Manpukuji Temple, which has watched the changes of this city for a long time, still stands there today with a calm appearance.
