665 (4th year of Emperor Tenji) Approximately 1,300 years ago, when Enno Gyoja was 16 years old, he felt spiritual energy on Mt. Kongo, and after a long period of training, he placed the Dharma wheel on Mt. Kongo at the top of Mt. Kongo. Built a temple. At that time, he enshrined Katsuragi Shrine, which enshrines his ancestral deity, Hitokotonushi-no-Okami, as its guardian, and it is said that Mt.
