Temple of Victory Katsuoji
Known as the ``Temple of Winning Luck'' and ``Temple of Winning Dharma,'' this is one of the oldest temples in the Kansai region, and is overflowing with visitors from all over the country praying for good luck.
It has been worshiped as a temple of victory for 1300 years, and today it is known as a temple that will help you win in every aspect of life, including entrance exams, warding off bad luck, illness, sports, business, elections, and entertainment. The ``daruma fortune tellers'' placed all over the temple grounds and the ``katsu daruma'' dedicated to each other are sights unique to Katsuo-ji Temple. The precincts, which are approximately 80,000 tsubo in size, are famous for the abundance of seasonal flowers such as cherry blossoms, hydrangeas, and autumn leaves.
