Kimono Shrine
The Tanabata Festival, which was revived as an annual festival in 1978, is now a major festival representing Katano City and is visited by many people.
In the 5th to 6th centuries, a people (the Qin clan) with skills in sericulture and weaving, organized by immigrants (from the Chang'an area of China), came to this area. It is thought that some groups settled at the foot of the mountain, now known as Mt. Kuraji. The current shrine is believed to have been built by people thought to be the Hata people (the Hata clan), and the locals believe that it was a machine. I'll start calling you.
Also, from that time onwards, Tanabata rituals were held as a ritual for the gods. It was revived as an annual festival in 1971 and is now a major festival representing Katano City, attracting many visitors.
