The premise of “EXPOCITY” is close to the center of Osaka and spreads across an area about 172,000 square meters in front of the Bampaku-kinen-koen Station on the Osaka Monorail. This large-scale multi-purpose complex combines entertainment and shopping facilities, which includes the “Mitsui Shopping Park LaLaport EXPOCITY” that houses about 300 stores. Under the theme of “Bringing together the joy of ‘Playing, Learning and Discovering’ all in one place!” it combines together education and entertainment, or “Edu-Tainment,” to offer one-of-a-kind experiences and excitement through the “Living Museum: NIFREL” and Japan’s tallest Ferris wheel, a facility for various sports, multiplexes, etc.
