An underground mall stretching south from JR Kitashinchi Station/Subway Nishi-Umeda Station, commonly known as "Dochika," is a passageway to the office district. On both sides of the approximately 250m-long passageway, there are about 60 stores, including restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacies, convenience stores, seals, shoe repair shops, business suits, and massage parlors. It opened in 1966, the year after the Yotsubashi Line opened. Since then, it has been bustling with the sight of office workers traveling between Nishi-Umeda and the business district of Dojima.
