Daisen Park
Located between the Nintoku Emperor's Mausoleum and the Richu Emperor's Mausoleum, this park is full of greenery and includes a lawn square and a Japanese garden.
Sakai's Central Park boasts an area of approximately 35 hectares. The ``Peace Tower'' towering in front of the ginkgo trees at the north entrance, and the gourd-shaped ``Doraike'' created by renovating a reservoir from the Edo period, are the center of a ``lawn plaza'' and ``children's forest.'' On holidays, it is crowded with many children. Other attractions within the park include the ``Sakai City Museum'' where you can learn about the history and culture of Sakai City, the 26,000 square meter ``Japanese Garden'', and the ``Sakai City Tea Room Shinan'' where you can casually enjoy matcha. There are also facilities. Approximately 400 Yoshino cherry trees and Oshima cherry trees are in full bloom in April.
