About Osaka

autumn

Autumn is the season when you can especially appreciate the beauty of colors. Midosuji, Osaka's main street lined with tall ginkgo trees, is enveloped in a dazzling yellow color in autumn. The cherry blossoms and zelkova trees in Osaka Castle Park change color from orange to red, adding color to the park scenery. This is also the season when the sunset over Osaka Bay is at its most fantastical. Try watching the sunset from the Osaka Prefectural Government Sakishima Building Observatory on the top floor of the famous skyscraper, Nanko Cosmo Tower. You will be left breathless by the beauty of the sun setting behind the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge.

There are plenty of other events happening in Osaka this autumn, including the Osaka Spring/Summer Fashion Show, as well as events related to the Full Moon Festival.
