How do I get from Kansai International Airport to Osaka city?
Convenient access by train is the JR Kansai Airport Rapid Service and the Nankai Railway. There are also many limousine buses running to Osaka city and other areas. The travel time from Kansai International Airport to Osaka city is approximately 40 to 60 minutes, depending on road congestion and which train you take.
I am planning to go from Tokyo to Osaka. What is the best means of transportation?
The Shinkansen is convenient and fast. In the case of Nozomi, it takes about 2 and a half hours to arrive one way. By air, JAL and ANA have frequent access to Osaka from Haneda and Narita airports. There are two airports in Osaka. Both Osaka International Airport (Itami Airport) and Kansai International Airport have convenient access to Osaka city. If you want to quickly travel to Osaka city, choose Osaka International Airport (Itami Airport) as your destination. It is closer to Osaka city than Kansai International Airport, and it takes about 30 minutes to reach the city center by monorail, train, or limousine bus.
Where can I get tourist information and hotel information?
Please visit one of the three tourist information centers operated by the Osaka Convention & Tourism Bureau. They are located in Umeda (JR Osaka Station) , Namba , and Shin-Osaka , and have staff on hand who can speak English and other foreign languages.

Osaka gets very hot and humid in the summer. It is often said that it is hotter than Tokyo. If you're visiting in midsummer, a sleeveless cut-and-sew shirt or T-shirt will suffice. However, in the middle of winter, please come with sufficient protection against the cold. February is especially the coldest month, and roads can sometimes freeze even in the city. Regarding rain, the rainy season usually begins in early June and ends in late July. There will be a lot of intermittent rain during this period, so please bring an umbrella and raincoat.
Are there any antique markets or flea markets in Osaka?
