Nippombashi Street Festa

Japan's largest cosplay festival

The main venue is Nihonbashi Denden Town (Nihonbashi Sakaisuji Shopping Street) and Ota Road, where anime shops and maid cafes are concentrated. On the day of the event, Sakaisuji Street becomes a pedestrian paradise and is filled with cosplayers and participants. The enthusiasm is at Comiket level!

Recently, cosplayers have gathered from not only Kansai but also Kanto and overseas, and you can see a variety of cosplays, from trendy characters to nostalgic characters to maniacal ones. High-quality cosplay is one of the fun things, but one of the charms of Street Festa is that you can see a lot of "interesting" cosplay that can only be found in Osaka.

The Street Festa Cosplay Parade is also a major event where Nihonbashi's maids and hundreds of cosplayers parade down Sakaisuji Street. The parade of hundreds of cosplayers is truly a sight to behold. You can have fun just watching the cosplayers parading around doing their own performances.

Various other events are held on the main stage and along the roads. Nihonbashi Street Festa is an event that you can enjoy even if you are not an anime fan. Please come and experience the "extraordinary" fun in Nihonbashi, the cutting-edge hobby town.
